'Hotel Santo Isidro' é um programa desenvolvido pelos artistas residentes do Atelier Santo Isidro, com o objectivo de convidar artistas, de diversos contextos, novos e conhecidos, a criarem e a exporem no nosso espaço de trabalho, geralmente num formato temporário de um a dois dias de exposição. A nossa intenção como anfitriões é a troca de ideias e culturas com os artistas hospedados, oferecer a oportunidade de participarem no panorama artístico na cidade do Porto e proporcionar um ambiente elástico e progressivo no nosso espaço, tanto para nós como para os participantes e para a comunidade que nos alberga.

Diaporama proporciona uma viagem no tempo através de
diapositivos de 35mm encontrados em diversas partes
do mundo, revelando fotografias pessoais de autores
desconhecidos que se misturam com desperdícios da
projeção de filmes em película e gravações áudio em fita magnética da era analógica.
						
					
As projeções de imagens do Diaporama, tal como a
criação sonora que as acompanha, tiram partido da
arquitetura da sala onde são instaladas e são por
isso ‘site specific’ e ‘time specific’, refletindo também o local e o tempo em que trabalhamos.
						
					
Este trabalho deixa uma questão latente: Quando
morrermos para que servem os arquivos pessoais que acumulamos?

Ao longo de 15 anos foram recolhidos dezenas de pedaços de fita magnética de cassete, de várias ruas e recantos da cidade (foundtaping). Descobriremos o que armazenam essas fitas, essa data em movimento, pequenos pedaços de memória armazenada ao sabor do tempo, que revelarão uma história da música consumida na cidade. O projecto FTP envolve um grupo de investigadores internacional de diversas áreas, da etnomusicologia à sociologia, da arte sonora à psicogeografia, e será publicado em ensaio, em arquivo online de acesso livre e na promoção de eventos públicos de performance musical e expositiva.

“Voyager” é uma instalação sonora 
paradoxalmente site-specifc e itinerante.Trata-se de um labirinto de cabos através do qual o visitante é convidado a circular e com o qual é desafiado a interagir, sugerindo pelo autor que se toque gentilmente em dois ou mais cabos, do que resulta a produção de sons electrónicos entre square waves, rádio frequências e ruído, que podem ser modificados consoante o toque. A intensidade/ pressão do toque permite modificar a frequência de osciladores, cujo sinal elétrico é amplificado e tornado audível. É possível dialogar de forma sensível através das inevitáveis interações espaço/ corpo e corpo/corpo que ocorrem no “Voyager” e que convidam à reflexão acerca das formas contemporâneas de relação/comunicação.
